Learn how to make party food all week long!
Tamariki can learn how to make different types of (mostly healthy!) party food all week long! You can register your child for 1 - 5 days in this FUN OSCAR registered school holiday programme.
We also teach kindness and gratitude skills in our class: encouraging enjoyment in creativity and not being in competition with others, being encouraging, and celebrating others successes.
Please note we only make vegetarian options and we are a peanut free environment.
School Holiday Programme Schedule

Monday: Cake Decoration
Tamariki will spend time looking at photos of different cakes and choosing elements for their own dream cake design to sketch
Learning how to prepare and use a pastry bag for buttercream
Decorating with buttercream: frosting, cake borders and designs
Working with chocolate: how to make chocolate piping designs and chocolate shards / chocolate cage and ganache drip design

Workbooking / role playing about how mistakes help you grow
Discussion/ work booking / role play about self-confidence / resilience to see things through when something is difficult

Tuesday: Mexican Party Food
Students will spend time listening to fun and festive traditional mexican music and having FUN learning how to make delicious, healthy, authentic Mexican party food, including:
burritos
salsas (dips)
nachos
quesadillas
(all vegetarian)

Wednesday: Japanese Party Food
Tamariki will spend time listening to traditional Japanese music and learning about Japanese serving etiquette, while learning how to make tasty and wholesome Japanese party food, including:
sushi
Okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes)
rice salad
manju
(all vegetarian)

Thursday: Italian Party Food
In this course students will learn how to make yummy Italian party food, whilst listening to Italian music and learning about the culture. Tamariki will learn how to make:
arancini
calzone
fritters
cannoli

Friday: Thai Party Food
Tamariki will have a fun day listening to Thai music and learning about Thai culture, whilst learning how to make tasty, fresh and healthy thai party food:
lettuce wraps
fresh spring rolls
corn fritters
sweet roti
(all vegetarian)
